Head-on Crash Results in Multiple Injuries

Drivers across the state of Tennessee know that traffic is just something they must deal with these days. There are more vehicles on Tennessee roadways than ever before. Unfortunately, motor vehicle accidents will only increase since more vehicles are sharing the same roadways. One of the most perilous types of accidents is a head-on collision, which are more likely to be serious or fatal due to the force of the impact.

Head-on Collision

Recently, a head-on crash in Union County resulted in three people suffering life-altering injuries. The accident happened along Highway 107 during the afternoon hours. According to reports, a blue SUV was traveling east on Highway 107 when, for unknown reasons, the driver ran off the road. Reports said the SUV driver overcorrected and crossed into the westbound lanes.

Multiple Injuries

Reportedly, the blue SUV crashed head-on into a westbound silver sedan. The collision knocked the silver sedan off the road where it came to rest against a tree. Reports said the driver of the silver sedan had to be extracted from the vehicle and was rushed to a local medical center for treatment of injuries. A passenger in the silver sedan and the driver of the blue SUV were also injured and taken to a hospital for treatment, authorities said.

Tragically, these types of accidents can happen in the blink of an eye. Those in Tennessee who have suffered injuries or the loss of loved ones due to negligence in motor vehicle accidents have the right to take legal action and contact an experienced litigator. A successfully litigated lawsuit could result in financial relief to help victims and families recover from this traumatic experience.
